Alexandra Burke has taught all levels of the Japanese public school system from university to kindergarten and adult English for specific purposes. A former systems examiner and public health policy officer from Australia, she's been researching how students with neurodiversity experience education in Japan.

Doris runs an eikaiwa school specializing in K-4 young learners in Tokyo. School closure was suddenly announced on a Friday night, and our online teaching journey gets more and more interesting from there. We went through group interactive lessons, Zoom sessions, and pre-recorded Youtube lessons.
